I graduated from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy in 1988 and began my journey in the field even before completing my training—transitioning from a receptionist in a chiropractic office to a practicing massage therapist. Since then, I’ve dedicated my career to therapeutic massage, primarily within chiropractic clinics, where I’ve developed a deep understanding of body mechanics and healing touch.
Throughout the years, I’ve also brought my skills to diverse environments including a nail salon, a massage school, a personal training center, a home office affiliated with Northwestern Hospital’s progressive relaxation program, a holistic doctor's office, massage centers, and private homes. This variety has enriched my practice and allowed me to work with a wide range of clients and conditions.
Teaching has always been a passion. I’ve led introductory massage classes at the Chicago School of Massage Therapy and offered couples massage workshops through the University of Illinois at Chicago. For several years, I also taught a 21-hour weekend workshop in Massage Cupping and Bodywork Therapy under the guidance of my mentor.
Now, I’m excited to return to teaching and will soon be offering workshops in facial massage cupping and gua sha and couples massage.
After more than three decades in practice, I continue to love what I do and feel honored to help people through the power of touch. I look forward to connecting with you.
